Welcome to the Backcounty Little One

Heart pumping, legs climbing, cool mountain breeze blowing, welcome to the backcountry little one.

Welcome to views that go on for miles. Welcome to the scent of pine after a thunder storm. Welcome to the sound of wind blowing through the mountain passes. Welcome little one to a whole new world of sights, smells and sounds.

I want to introduce you to to the brook trout, who swiftly darts through the creeks and lakes that we pass. I want to into introduce you to the steller’s jay, who is the one making all those silly noises you hear. I want to introduce you the the black bear, who despite appearances is not a big doggy.

We will camp under the stars, beneath the mountain, and climb so high you can touch the clouds.

Heart swelling, leggings swinging, mountain wind singing, welcome to the backcountry little one.
