How to get to Osage Hills State Park: buy two tickets to Tulsa Oklahoma for Christmas. Get your flight home canceled due to unforeseen weather events giving you two extra days to explore the land around your husbands home town. Drive a hour west of Bartlesville to Osage Hills State Park, get your boots on and hike.

  1. Not that you find yourself in Oklahoma all the time but if you are ever looking for something to do out there, a trip to the Wichita Mountains is well worth the effort. It is in the opposite corner of the state from Tulsa but it has some surprisingly awesome mountains, fantastic rock climbing great hiking, true wilderness and lots of bison and elk!
