Fire Cider

I’ve always wanted make fire cider. It is a well known tonic for any herbalist’s arsenal. There are many good recipes online and I’m still learning the ins and outs of making my own. To make fire cider you gather immune boosting herbs, hot peppers, citrus, garlic, ginger, and anything that that will add a punch to this pungent concoction. Once you cut everything up, pack it in a large mason jar and cover with apple cider vinegar. Loosely cover and let her sit for a few weeks. As I said if you want to make your own I suggest looking for recipes online, I tend to just wing it so I can’t be trusted! At least not until it comes out well then you can take my advice.

I’ve been trying to post on this little blog of mine at least once a week. I told myself it does not have to be lengthily or profound. I really just want to have snapshots of my life that I can share with you! I’m hoping that some weeks I can put together longer more thoughtful posts but I also really enjoy these little windows into small tasks and projects.
