Sandpoint Farmers Market

A great thing about moving to a different part of the county is you have seemingly endless options for new things to do. Yes, even in a small town like ours. Lucky for us we love being outside so all the lakes, mountains, and rivers will keep us plenty busy for some time. When we feel like venturing into civilization there are many small towns to visit. We recently took advantage of this and after hearing a lot of good things we decided to check out the Sandpoint Farmers Market. The Farmers Market is on Wednesdays at 3pm to 530pm and Saturday at 9am to 1pm. It is located at Farmin Park in Sandpoint Idaho. At the Market you can find everything from fresh produce to baked goods and handmade crafts. My personal favorite was all the local soaps and herbal apothecary products. The Market has live music and plenty of green lawn to sit on and enjoy the goodies you purchased at the market. We shared a lemon cookie as we listened to the plucking of guitar and mandolin from the grandstand. My one suggestion is to bring cash, two of the vendors I wanted to purchase from did not take cards. However, there is an ATM located next to the park should you forget to bring coin. The Sandpoint Farmers Market runs until October 14th. If you find yourself in North Idaho I highly recommend you check it out.
